So those of you who read After the Flag will remember that I spoke about the youth group that I belonged to at Rose Hill Baptist. Well, some of those folks got together recently over on Facebook and somebody posted this photo taken on the front steps of the church. I’ll let you figure out where I’m at in this photo. What gets me is the dresses that look like curtains and red shirts? I think the fellows had ties they wore during performances that were made from the same material as the dresses. Can you tell it was the ’70s?
Okay, folks, Roger nailed it. Second row, count over third from right. The thing Roger hasn’t told us is how he knew. Even my husband of 30 years couldn’t get it. He insisted I wasn’t in the photo at all. My daughter, however, figured it out, though, like her daddy she said it didn’t look a thing like me. I asked her how she knew then and she said “You have the biggest smile.”
