I’m not much of one for idol worship. I don’t get twitter-patted over celebrities, or long to be one of them. But I admit to one long-standing infatuation with singer/songwriter Rich Mullins. I love this man. I love most everything about him. His writing. His singing. His life, which was way too short. I think of all the lyrics he left unwritten. All the songs he left unsung. All the lives he never touched. If ever we needed the music of Rich Mullins, it’s now.
I came across this piece today during some research. Yes. YouTube counts as research. “Faith without works is about as useless as a screen door on a submarine.”
What a great line. I hope you enjoy this ditty as much as I do.
