Blueberries, 99 cents at Fresh Market. Though they really aren’t fresh, since they were flown in from Chile but much fresher than the frozen kind. I just ate a pint of them. I love almost fresh blueberries in the winter.
I also just finished writing a chapter in my next book — Will Jesus Buy Me a Doublwide? You’re going to like this book, I promise.
My favorite movie all all time is on the Oxygen channel tonight — You’ve Got Mail. I can’t believe how young Tom Hanks looks. I miss Meg Ryan, don’t you? She’s so darn cute.
But I am not going to stay up and watch it all because I have to leave early in the morning. I’m driving to Raleigh to catch a plane to fly to Nashville where I’ll get a rental car and drive to Crossville to see Gordon and Pam. It’s going to be a quick trip. And undoubtedly a cold one. It’s stinking cold out now and it’s supposed to be 9 degree by morning.
Brrrr… I thought I was in the south.
This is the most awful part of the show, where Meg Ryan walks into the big box store and sees all the people reading books and then she sits in the children’s section and hears a customer ask for a book that the sales help has no idea about. So true to life.
Okay. Off to Nashville I go, but to bed first.
